WELCOME ROYA !

My name is Roya and I am an Office Administrator with Orthofit! I am thrilled to be a part of the team and glad that I get to work with such great people! I am from Charlotte and have been in the O & P field for about 6 years. I love working on the administrative side of things. It’s very exciting when all of the parts come together, and our patients receive the device they need and deserve. I love animals (especially dogs!), traveling, and listening to music. I also enjoy baking/cooking and trying out new recipes. I am a big fan of trivia, specifically F*R*I*E*N*D*S and music trivia!

JASON ARBUCKLE

Lab Manager/Lead Technician

How long have you been with the company?

A little over 4 years

What does your job entail?

I work in the lab where everything gets made. I make sure things run smoothly throughout the day for Alex, Matt & Seth. I like to maintain a clean and orderly work environment, so I’m constantly organizing and putting things back where they belong! (My co-workers MIGHT even say I may possibly have OCD!!)

What is your secret talent?

I can fix anything!!!!! Also, I have beaten all the time trials on Mario Kart!

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

I would like to have super speed… That would really help me out at work!!

Which accomplishments, personal or professional, are you most proud of?

I’m proud of how far I’ve come as a technician! I started out in this field very young and immature. I was basically a very green grasshopper! Now I’ve been in this field for 20 years and have learned so much as the techniques have changed over the years.

Who are some of your biggest inspirations within the company or outside?

Alex, Matt & Seth are the hardest workers I have ever met and they all inspire me every day! They are an amazing trio to work with because they are great at what they do, and they give me the freedom and space to do what I do best!

What is something about you that most people don’t know.

I really enjoy playing golf and I want to be a good golfer one day! I practice every day and I think I am getting better but I have quite a ways to go!

TAYLOR FINCEN

Orthotic Fitter/Pedorthist

How long have you been with the company?

Since March 2013

What does your job entail?

Working with therapists, nursing and Physicians to provide orthotic and prosthetic care.

Who inspired you to pursue the career you have today?

Since I was a child I loved anything and everything related to the medical field. Taking care of people completes me. I’d have to say the community I live in has inspired me to pursue my career in Orthotics and Prosthetics. Working in the medical field it was obvious that there were not a lot of options for residents to seek orthotic and prosthetic care, so it pushed me to want to make sure my community had the help they needed available to them.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

If I could be at more than one place at one time!

Which accomplishments, personal or professional, are you most proud of?

Personally, I’m super proud of being a new mommy and professionally, staying committed to growing as a clinician in this field and achieving certifications in O & P.

Who are some of your biggest inspirations within the company or outside?

Outside of the company I would have to give credit to my twin sister. She’s always had herself together and has been extremely successful in all aspects of her life and I’d hope to be a little more like her someday. In the company, I honestly would like to say everyone that’s a part of our team (especially Queen Vick) but to keep it short I’d say Kayla, Matt and Seth. Kayla is extremely kind and big hearted and a huge help to me at the Eastern Shore office. Matt and Seth (scooter) teach me so much about Prosthetics and they help me take care of a lot of my patients in ways I could not without them. They are the MVP’s for sure.

What is something about you that most people don’t know.

I’m extremely intelligent. Ha!Ha! Just kidding! That’s a tough question! I’m pretty much an open book in and out of the office!

What’s one thing on your bucket list?

A trip to Australia. My work mom is from there I’m pretty darn jealous that I’ve never been! I’m thinking since I mentioned her in my employee spotlight she’ll take me on her next visit home!🙂
